Littlebigman films have been comissioned by Blackburn with Darwen Council to make a film about Blackburn and its young people. We are looking for young men both white and asian heritage to take part in the film between the ages of 16-20(particularly two young men to play the lead roles). Shooting will take place in late jan 2010.We feel it is important (as the story is about Blackburn ) that the two leads are sourced from the local community. This is a professional production but is unpaid work. However it will give anyone involved the chance to work with professional actors, directors and production staff. No acting experience needed just a willingness to learn (quickly) and plenty of enthusiasm. The film will feature at various film festivals and we hope to have some sort of showing in May 2010 at a local cinema.

Professional actors etc. already invovled are:

Noreen Kershaw (director, coronation st , emmerdale, heartbeat) (Actress , life on mars , albion market, various tv) has agreed to be involved.

Graeme Hawley (Coronation St's John Snape) involved

Mark Babych (co director of littlebigman films, previously artistic director of Bolton Octagon ) is involved

Ted Robbins has agreed to play a small part as himself and also my great friend John Henshaw (Looking for Eric , Early Doors, Born and Bread, also the face of the Post Office)

Lion eyes tv (manchester) a very prestigious tv company have agreed to edit the film

If anyone wants to get involved or knows anyone that would like to be invovled then please contact Paul Simpson on 07971303148 or paulsimpson@littlebigmanfilms.com for an audition in January 2010.

Sorry haven't responded sooner. Not doin And Did Those Feet because felt I was too old for the part now. Have been helping Mark with the casting though-sure it'll be great. Looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about(from the other side!)...good luck with it and see you on first night!
