I meant that I was confused about the 'congratulations' and the 'well done, you deserve it' thing. I was just baffled as to what it was they deserved. I obviously realise and appreciate that Chris and Birty's work is being officially recognised with correct titles, and rightfully so, but it's hardly something to pop a cork for...appearing on a list. You wouldn't go up to Steven Spielberg and say, 'Oh well done for getting your name in the credits.' It's just a given.
I kinda know what you mean Strawbs, but in the film industry credits like these are excellent, and very impressive to have on a CV.

I have been on some production shoots and seen people working their arses off, and taking a lot of shit of people, but yet making the production run smoothly and doing most of the work of what the "bigger" people should do on the set... but when I look at the credits, they have only been credited as production assistants or runners, and that winds me up.

I know it sounds daft, but in the film, TV and media industry people sometimes work harder for a credit than they do for the cash... I know I do often enough. :)

Now, Chris and Birty haven’t been working for executive producer credits, but I think it’s excellent that their hard work and commitment has been recognised for this production…

Now where did I put that champagne bottle?

Whilst on the subject of champagne, have you been accredited for Cannes yet Cop? Both myself and Pauly G have, Chris and Birty won't be with us I'm told.

Ah, that's a shame, Mike. :( They really do deserve to be there too. :) This accreditation business for Cannes does seem rather, um, 'restrictive'. I obviously say that as someone who knows very little about it all, but still.... :):p

Don't mind me, I'm just not one for over congratulating. I can be objective to a fault sometimes. Your reasoning is fair enough. But you can only go forward with your own attitude to work - in this case giving Chris and Birty more reflective titles - than worry about others' practices - where they give poor recognition to those who have worked hard.

You, Michael and the rest involved in the production should just carry on how you're going and you'll build a respectable reputation that other like-minded people will want to work with, rather than those who are just in it for the plaudits.

Though, obviously getting the plaudits is very nice. :)

Trust me, everybody is working hard on this production, sometimes if we work overtime, Michael gives us dog biscuits :)

I don't doubt it.

The hard work I mean, not the biscuits. :)

The BS IMDb page has had a bit of an update....

On the cast front...MC Tunes has now got a credit up as Justin, and Joe Moan is down as playing Fergie.

And the crew members added....

Rhiannon Preece-Towey (Assistant Director)

Jonathan Eckersley (Assistant Director)

Thomas Beswick (Camera Assistant)

Jameel Kazmi (Camera Assistant)

Kevin Braithwaite (Grip)

Marika McCaulsky (Production Assistant)

Lara Scott-Thomas (Production Assistant)

:) :)

I'll edit these into my guide in daylight hours!

Ooh, might I get a "best boy" credit after the other week? :p

We sacked the director from my current project back in October because he was a complete twat. Now he has managed to delete all of the writers (including me) and producers from the IMDB page, just out of spite.

I'm not best pleased about that

Jonathan Eckersley doesn't want his name on the credits till it's released so we've asked to have his name removed from IMDB.

The BS IMDb page has been updated to credit COP for his work on sorting out PROPS and JOHN HOWARTH in his role as DELIVERY DAN.

I've added the above credits to my guide (though I've put John down as playing WHITE VAN DAN...lol...as that's what his Spotlight/Casting Call Pro CVs have him down as playing...plus, this character name being chosen wouldn't surprise me! ;) ). Also added in links to John's online CVs/official site, plus a couple of 'dated shoots' pics.

The "Photographs" link at the bottom of the left panel on IMDB links to a PSF page that doesn't exist. :(
