Did you manage to get to the game Wiggs? First half I thought was great, good atmosphere all round. Burnley fans were flying high for their five minutes of glory but then after that were pretty much silent. Apart from about 5-10 minutes after the final whistle when they suddenly began singing. How weird was that :)

A bit annoying that Rovers sat back in the second half (evidence that this was the game-plan was given away by Ryan Nelson on Radio Rovers). I thought that was a risky game to play. Diouf was off-colour, and we missed Di Santo when he went off (wish we could get him signed permanently). Dunny was immense. How did Jenson stay on the pitch? And why did Bike suddenly fall over for no apparent reason

Overall a decent game full of passion and commitment, though I did think 3-2 was flattering for them

Funnily enough them getting a consolation goal in time added on was like they'd won a cup final. It mustn't have dawned on them that they'd been beat. Can't wait for the return match, I think it'll be even more heated at their place.

Don't think we'll get much joy from the Chelski & Man U away games so this was a must win game.

Cop sent me a couple of, erm, colourful texts during the game criticizing his team. I'll let him elaborate.

I must say I am very disappointed in Burnley, very poor in the first half. It doesn't matter who is in charge, which players we have, they always let the supporters down when it comes to games like this. But Rovers were deserved winners in the end, better players, better finishers and better preparation.

When Robbie Blake scores a goal like that, it's normally his type of game, but he was anonymous after that and then individual mistakes cost us... Jensen had a mare. I don't understand him, he can be immense, and then have an absolute stinker.

Fletcher can't control a bag of cement. Jury's still out on him.

I thought we improved when Eagles came on... but Blackburn were sitting back by then, I was hoping there was going to be a comeback when we grabbed a consolation, we have seen it happen a few times under Coyle, but it wasn't to be this time.

I thought Samba was good, he certainly has a presence when he is in 18 yard box.

I'd say Rovers key players are at the moment are. David Dunn, Franco Di Santo, Chris Samba and Gael Givet (who strangely enough was on the bench after some great performances).

Lucky for you guys (Cop & Dave HGV) we probably won't have Di Santo for the Turf Moor match as with Chelsea not being able to sign new players for a while he'll probably be recalled in January. He's the only player we have up front who can hold the ball up for play to catch up, and he's a class player all round. I'm just hoping our £6million summer signing begins firing them in by then.

Cop, you have a tough game against Wigan at home to bounce back. They've been in-form recently. I think if your lot win that, confidence will return. We have two huge mountains to climb against Man U & Chelski. And a cup match with Peterborough.

And why didn't they play Eagles from the start? He was the best one of them! That said we did sit back in the second half, it was frustrating to say the least.

The FA have decided not to charge Wade Elliott with a kick to Pascal Chimbonda's face... Although that kind of behaviour is unlike Wade Elliott I can't say I agree with the decision... it was disgraceful.
