"Okay, off you go...quietly." :D

Did anyone else see Chris in GH today?! He was in two scenes as Mr Lydon, the history teacher. In the first scene, Mr Lydon....complete with Layton hair (including that 'curl' at the bottom!) :D ....was finishing off a lesson by asking how everyone was getting on after being back at school for a week...and he talked about his recent backpacking trip to Iceland, too! Though....argghh....just as he was saying 'lovely', my reception flipping blipped! o_O And the CBBC logo seemed to be almost permanently attached to his head, too!

A nice scene, though, and Chris did get some good pieces of dialogue. :) And this applies to the second scene, too.....

In his last scene of the eppy, he's actually giving a history lesson...."So, we've got the Chartists, the Luddites, the swing riots. What else?" :D o_O

We get teacher/pupil talk about the Rebecca Riots....and, before this, we get...."Alex! Another protest movement of the Industrial Revolution." :D

So, GH isn't my kind of show and I wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for Chris's involvement in it, but I did really enjoy the scenes Chris was in. Yes, Chris, you were right.....as well as being great in this....of course!! :D :)

Well, we've got just one more scene to go with Mr Lydon. No idea which eppy that'll be in.....Chris..... :D ;) o_O

Thanks for the report Joanna! :)

Sorry to say I didn't see it. The only way I'd be able to do it is to record it and despite two nights of trying to work out how to set the timer on my VCR, I kind of.... failed.

Afraid not, Cop! CBBC isn't even broadcasting right now....it goes off air at 7 pm every night! It'll be repeated later in the year on BBC1, though! Yeah, I know.... :p

what we can do cop is re-enact the scenes from grange hill using us as the kids and chris can do his lines and we'll film it and i'll put it up on here for those who missed it.

the pub will have to fill in as a classroom though!

I wonder who you'll get to play the male pupil Tigger. In the second scene, in a Little Britain moment, he 'says'...."...Ooh, I'm a lady!"* :D

xx Joanna xx

PS: *It has to be Coppack and his 'Temptation' voice! :D  :D

I thought that in the unlikely event your actinhg career did not go so well, you would make a cracking History teacher.

Missed it 'cos I was working. I'm starting to think I'm just not destined to to see any of Chris's new roles. Hope I have better luck with the films.

No Mr Lydon today. There were a couple of mentions of the history class but that was it. Chris, any idea whether your scene has been cut  , or whether it is definitely still to come?

I think they should bring back the sausage and the fight in the opening title sequence, bring back Mr Baxter and Mrs McClusky. Also bring back Gonch, Ziggy and Imelda Davis as parents of uruly pupils.

Yep that shows how old I am.
