I had a look for it on A-Z listings, I cant find it, unless its Wildlife SOS your on about?

Its annoying having Finch coming on television telling me things, I am only just recovering from my Online Gambling addiction from earlier in the year... Good job I have my Tuxedo Credit Card to help my me with my "Mauny" problems.

With his history of playing gays, he shouldn't be allowed near animals...

Well, it's the voice on the 'TV Ad' HERE that I find annoying...Maybe one day...or ad...

Well, the Discovery/Animal Planet schedules currently go up to 18 January...and there's no mention of CSW at all.

As you've probably seen, this particular series has actually already aired on Animal Planet. It was showing on Monday nights from 1 October, so can't have long finished its run. However, even though I don't know when Chris recorded his voice-over, I'm presuming that this was the airing with the woman's narration on it.

So, in answer to your question, Cop, I have absolutely no idea when it's showing again but with Chris narrating it instead of that (sorry, but I don't know her name!) woman! :D

Take it it wasn't on tonight, then, after all (though, according to the Radio Times/What's on TV mag listings I've seen, there's still a 3am showing to come tonight....). And as of up to 21 December (the listings I currently have up to), RT/WOTV also have it airing on Discovery on Thursday at 10pm/3.50am and next Sunday at 9pm/3am...with no mention of it all on the Discovery Channel's own schedules....

Quite!

In THIS TVSA forum post, we have it premiering on Animal Planet on 29 October (presumably in South Africa, going by the forum)...even though the run that started on 1 October hadn't yet finished (World Society for the Protection of Animals site says HERE it's last programme aired on 4 November). From the WSPA....

Crime Scene Wild is a series about animals being used for criminal purposes, such as the illegal trade of bear bile, or products containing bear bile. The series is currently being aired on Animal Planet in the UK, Europe, Africa and Middle East, every Monday at 10pm during October and early November. The episode featuring WSPA footage is due to air on Sunday 4th November at 10pm and is the last programme in the series.

Then HERE, from an article written in October...

The full six-part Crime Scene Wild series is airing on Discovery Channel's Animal Planet in Europe, Africa and the Middle East this month, with a worldwide release to follow. Airing in Asia is set for February 2008. In other episodes, PeunPa staff investigate the trade in Ivory, Big Cats, Shahtoosh, Monkeys & Apes, and Bears.

So, then, for the shows with Chris's narration, it means....

For any Australians/New Zealanders who may visit these boards, the first CSW (on the illegal trade in elephant ivory) is airing on the Animal Planet in OZ/NZ from 29 January (7.30pm, 11.30pm). It's also repeated the following day (3.30am, 8.30am), 2 February (6.30am) and 5 February (1.30pm). No idea, though, what's going on for the scheduling for the rest of the series, as there's then no mention of the show at all up until 17 February (when the current schedules end). However, due to where it's being broadcast, I do think that the show that is airing from the 29th is the one with Chris's narration (as opposed the American woman who originally narrated it). Still no mention of it in the UK schedules for Discovery/Animal Planet, I'm afraid!

There’s an article on the Animal Planet Website that says - “Crime Scene Wild -Mondays beginning 18 February at 9pm” – although whether it’s the version we’re waiting for I haven’t a clue. I’m not even sure if they’re talking about 18 February 2008 – but I think so. o_O

I continue to be very confused! :D

:D Sorry, I shouldn't laugh, but I'm finding all of this stuff with the CSW schedules slightly funny now... :D I presume THIS is the CSW article that you've seen, Fran. And yep, it is indeed listed on that Animal Planet site as airing from 18 February...though, sadly, that site's for the South-East Asian division of Animal Planet! :D Sorry, hun, but it's airing from that date in South-East Asia only! Um.... :D

Not good news, I have received this email from the guys at Discovery

Dear Mr Coppack

Thank you for contacting Discovery Animal Planet.

We have made some investigations and "Crime Scene Wild" does not appear to be featuring in our schedules again in the immediate future. We regret any disappointment this may cause but feel free to contact us at a future date and we will investigate your enquiry again.

Kind Regards

Discovery Networks Europe Viewer Realtions Team

Strange, I wonder if its being re-badged and shown on a different network?

Are you sure it wasn't a dream Chris?

The Innocence Project, Grange Hill and now Crime Scene Wild. Does anyone else see the connection?

Mr Finch is TV's kiss of death!!

"Chris Of Death", if you will.

:p

I'm only joking...though, if Waterloo Road doesn't get another series... ;)

Yes Cop I think I dreamt spending 18 gruelling hours in a recording studio!

Not sure if it makes any difference but it wasn't scheduled to be shown on Animal Planet but on Discovery UK. Perhaps there response wasn't specific to AP but to the Discovery UK network as a whole. If this is the case then...Oh well.

Thanks for finding out for us Paul, even if it's not good news. I hope we find out when it's going to air before it eventually happens. It would be very grrrrrrrrrrrr to discover we'd missed it after all this.

lol - just read Chris's post. Looks like it's back to checking the schedules again! (that break didn't last long!) :p
