Just a lil plug for the return (it's already had a sell-out run at The Lowry) of Joe O'Byrne's :) Rank. It's playing a two-night run at The Dancehouse next month (11-12 September)....

A local gang war…an innocent gunned down…a community divided…

It’s Halloween in Paradise Heights, and business for Lucky Cabs has never been quieter. Lisa, the boss of the small taxi firm, is learning the hefty cost of her decision to ‘turn grass’ as her business is boycotted by the community under the orders of a local gangster. As intimidation from the local street gangs escalates and events begin to spiral out of control, Lisa realises integrity has a price, and it could cost much more than her business.

With the local police trying to quell a full scale riot, and Death quite literally stalking the streets, the rank is cut off and in the dead of night a ghost from the past is watching and waiting…

Take a ride tonight with the Dogz of Paradise Heights

CAST: Clyve Bonelle, Ian Curley, Phoebe Marie Jones, Ben Hood, Jeni Howarth Williams, Aaron Rochford and Ste Myott.

More on the play (including booking details) can be found on its Facebook page. All the best for the run, Joe.

Ooh, hadn't expected a trailer! Cool. The white masks on those creepy black-dressed 'youths' are very Halloweenesque. Presume that's a deliberate hark-back to the film.
