Kinofilm presents ‘KINO SHORTS’ - an event for the Not Part Of Festival.
Tuesday 8th July 2008 at 8.00pm – 11.00pm, Green Room, Manchester.
I'll be down at our next night at the Green Room, Manchester on Tuesday 8th July 2008 at 8.00pm – 11.00pm
This is what we'll be doing on the night:
Firstly, thanks to everyone who turned up at our special screening of “Diary of a Bad Lad”, on Friday 6th June. Just under 100 people turned up and it was a fantastic return to form for Kino. Everyone enjoyed the film and the entertaining Q & A session afterwards. Thanks to the Bad Lad guys, Michael Booth, Joe O'Byrne adn jon Willimas, for such an entertaining evening.
For the second in our new series of film nights the main programme will be a selection of new shorts from the North West. Several films will be receiving their premiere or first public screening in the city. The filmmakers will be present and each film will be followed with a short question and answer session with the director and/or producer of the film in conversation with our local host, musician and C4 cultural commentator, John Robb.
There will be a supporting programme as you arrive and take your seats with some classic films from the history of cinema shorts. All in all, a night with something for everyone.
