For anyone interested in crimes against endangered species then tune into 'Crime Scene Wild' on Sunday evenings on Discovery. It's quite hard hitting at times...oh and you might recognise the voice of the narrator ;)

Ah, no! I don't get the Discovery Channel. Grumble. Sounds like a great programme too. How much of the series do you narrate, Chris? Noticed it's show 3 on Sunday (episode guide HERE), and that the snippet of narration HERE (from the upcoming bushmeat prog) is being done by a woman!

i have narrated 6 out of the 6 eps. It was originally narrated by a woman but they wanted a male voice which may explain why you've heard a clip with a female voice.

now that is cruel!!!

ps i wont watch it because i get too upset watching them things even though my concience is clear, every time i hear your girlie voice i'll probably cry. ;(

For the 'interested', found out that this is actually on Discovery tonight at 10pm. The Sunday showing is a repeat of tonight's. Doesn't mean a lot for me, though, since I can't watch it!

I'm pretty sure this show was on Five earlier in the year, or at least something very similar. I clearly remember a team invstigating the death of a deer in some woods. Five sometimes have shows that were originally on Sky or the Discovery Channel so it might be that this series of Crime Scene Wild is repeated on there some time next year.

Hope that's of some help. :)

Well, the Discovery Channel listings don't have it on for either today or Sunday. However, both the Radio Times and What's on TV (haven't seen any others to comment) have it down for both 10pm tonight and 9pm on Sunday. So, hopefully...

PS: Thanks, Strawbs. Hope so.

Tried to find it for you and couldn't but they haven't put the listings on for next week. Lemur Street looks good though.

First the Discovery Channel, next it's going to be Crash, Bang, Wallop... What a video and Scum on the Run :)

Mark my words people ;)

hmmm, I've just looked on Whats On Tv and didn't see it there!! Did you Joanna? This is weird. Can't believe that something as simple as listing a TV programme is so hard to get right! Won't it be funny if when I finally get to watch it it's that womans voice and not mine HAHAHA

Wasn't in the online listings that I've seen it. It's in the RT/WOTV mags themselves. They both have it on for tonight at 10pm. And both listings say it's the prog about Tibetan antelope wool dealers.

Add me to the confused list! I eventually found a reference to the programme which told me to go somewhere else to find out when it was on...so I went...and...no mention of it!

woops, its actually crime scene us thats on ha!

oh and finchy what do you mean the bush meat one is the best! are you saying it's the best one because baby gorillas get snatched from their mummy's while their daddys are eaten, if so shame on you or do you mean it's the best one because you got some good lines!

if it's the other i'm afraid some of my veggie posse are gonna lynch you while I narrate.
