That picture on the last page looks like he has had a typical night out in Burnley... ;)

Thanks, guys. Seems it was meant to be Chris Leonard, then, that Joe intended to reference in terms of Bad Lad, but on air there was some sort of mix up and he plugged Wilky as being in it instead! Though, actually, it could end up being a 'good' kind of mistake, couldn't it?! ;)

And yeah, Mike, that really is some achievement (belated congrats!), and shame it wasn't more appreciated. Mission Impossible....yessss....I've seen that too.....and got no intention of ever seeing it again!! :p

Thanks, wiggy. 'Listen again'....and again.... :):p

Btw, is it right that after tonight's show, last night's one won't be available anymore on 'Listen Again'? With Radio 1 shows, for instance, think it's 7 days, but appears to be a one-day only thing with this.

RealPlayer. It's the Hitler of media players.
 Have to rely on Realplayer a lot to play vids from my own files, as my computer (ah, it ails so!) doesn't seem to have much of a liking for Windows Media Player. Though, for some reason, playing just audio with Realplayer is less kind to my system compared to playing vids with it.

What media players would you recommend, Mike? Which would you say are the most 'computer friendly'?

Winamp on PC, Quicktime on Mac. Why don't BBC stream via a flash wrapper?

By the way anyone on Windows can just record the stream through their sound card as a wav, then convert that to an MP3.

Only thing I'll be called a nerd for is for films. I know pretty much feck-all about computers.

Now, Michael... :D

Thanks, Mike! Btw, get what you mean about being able to record it....but what do I actually need to do to get it to record and convert in that way?! :):p

Surely everyone has a programme for creating mp3's

For recording audio on your desktop I'm pretty sure every soundcard is different so I couldn't tell you. Paul Gordon would be able to tell you as he knows everything.

Now I think you should all go away and just think about what you've done.

He's just nicking stuff from my script now. Get them copies bound and sent to the actors pronto boy-genius.

You know today he was trying to organise a shoot for a week on Saturday, when we'll be in Cannes. I think we should sack him and get Elijah Wood.

And on that note, just to say that I hope you all have a really fun and productive time out there. Can't wait to hear more about it on your return. :)

Thanks Joanna. I fear for Coppack's safety. He's growing up too fast.

Just thought I'd have a look-in to the official LFL site before I went to bed....and, oooh, it's had a rather cool-looking update  ......

+ New 'characters' section (Chalkie/Moses/Mike/Sherree/Lisa/Roy).

+ New 'biog' section (Joe O'Byrne/Greg Kelly/Clyve Bonelle/James Foster/Chris Wilkinson :p/Adil Mohammed Javid/Naithan Ariane/John Garfield Roberts/Bill McCoid).

Here's the biog for our very own Mr Wilkinson :):p......

Chris Wilkinson (Daz)

Chris Wilkinson made his professional acting debut at the age 22. After performing in several theatre productions, Chris secured a small role on the widely acclaimed television show, ‘Coronation Street’. Whilst only having a small speaking role, Chris made a strong impression on the producers and after taking a short period of time out to create a community theatre company designed to involve school children in acting workshops, culminating in a weeks run at the Edinburgh fringe festival, Chris was asked to return to ‘Coronation Street’ and take on the role of gay nurse Karl Foster in a new ground-breaking and controversial storyline.

Despite its controversial and challenging storyline, Chris Wilkinson’s commitment and passion for the role earned him a great amount of critical acclaim and an award for ‘Best Kiss’ at the national ‘Inside Soap Awards’. Following the success of his performance on the show, Chris continued to make strong and considered choices as to the roles he would continue to take and whilst this meant passing on many projects, his commitment to choosing roles that he felt he had a strong personal connection with remained his main criteria.

One of these projects was the feature film ‘Lookin For Lucky’. With its compelling narrative and witty dialogue Chris new that playing the controversial role of Daz was an opportunity he could not pass up.

Since working on ‘Lucky’, Chris Wilkinson has successfully continued to bridge his career between that of mainstream Television and Independent Cinema and has gained credits on the BBC dramas’ ‘Innocence’, ‘Grange Hill’, Channel Four’s ‘Hollyoaks: In the city’ and the feature film ‘Bar Stewards’ currently in production.

+ A 'coming soon' Gallery.

+ A new-look 'news' section. And if you look next to 08.05.07 in its Latest News Headlines, you'll see this....

LUCKY CREATES QUITE A STIR

Controversial comments on the pleased sheep website

And there's a link to this thread too! Wonder which comments are meant as the 'controversial' ones!! :D

+ A new 'short' synopsis to go with the 'half page' version.

Nice one, Joe. Lookin' pretty good! And cheers for the thread link (and so PSF plug!). :)

There is now a fab set of Lucky pics up in the gallery of Jonathan Harris's MySpace profile. Most of them are new ones, with only a few being overlaps to those we've already seen in the LFL gallery. And included within these really nicely shot/styled (plug plug!!) pics are a few that may be of particular 'interest' to some of you here (yep, you'll probably have seen the first two but I think they can bear a post here!!)....Well, it is Finchy Friday.... ;)

And just because I think it's such a brilliantly-produced piece of work....

The LFL gallery is now up and running on the official Lucky site. There are 15 pics in total, and they are a mixture of film and behind-the-scenes stills. And nice to see one of the Daz/Lisa pics from Jonathan Harris's MySpace gallery on the official site (piccy number 8 and the last Daz/Lisa one in my last post!).
