My MySpace Halal Harry site

I was recently asked by Russell Razzaque, writer/director of the upcoming British feature film Halal Harry, if I could run a MySpace fan site for the film to help the drive for it. Well, I could have refused, but I didn't as it was too good an offer to turn down!

Well, it is all up and running now, so I thought I'd give it a little plug on here (well, I've got to get people to find out about it somehow!)!

I've got an exclusive offer on there, too, for the first 30 'friends' of the site (or just the first 30 who want to take it up!) - and an offer direct from the very generous Russell Razzaque himself.

The offer concerns the premiere of the film, which is taking place on 23 September at the Bite the Mango Film Festival (23-28 September, National Museum of Photography, Film & Television, Bradford). So, for 30 subscribers I can offer free backstage passes to the post-screening party (warnings: may contain celebrities! ) and a place on a free coach both to and from the event (leaving Saturday and returning Sunday). People will be able to board the coach at stops at both London and the Midlands. All the details on the offer are on my Blog.

I'll also be conducting interviews with selected HH cast members, which will go up in my Blog as and when they are completed. My first site interview, though, isn't with one of the cast but with Russell. It'll be happening shortly so should be up in my Blog quite soon.

Thank you, Michael. I'm glad you like it, and particularly so as it is 'you'; it means a lot.

It's my first attempt at running something like this, so I've sort of been thrown in at the deep end and had to learn as I've gone along, but, even so, I don't think I've got it looking too bad!

I just need someone - anyone - to take up my 23 September HH premiere screening offer now! Anyone?!

How is the filming on Bar Stewards going, btw? Progressing well, I hope. Chris behaving himself?

So, thank you for the pic (and that thanks comes from a few other people too! ); I appreciate it.

Really pleased everything seems to be going well with the filming for BS, and as just seeing this one 'ungraded/raw footage/web compressed/resized ' film still has got me laughing (Chris's facial expression here is just so funny!), I'm feeling really confident that this film is going to be a fabulous one. Hope all continues to go well on the production.
